- LITTLE PRINCESS
 in january the little princess performed a concert in detroit.
 at this very special concert, a film was supposed to be projected on the large screen onstage.
 it may have had something to do with the cold, but either way, the projector did not work properly.

- HIS NAME IS ALIVE EAST COAST TOUR
 in february, his name is alive did a tour of the east coast of the united states.
 his name is alive did a brief midwest and west coast tour in may and june, we have no pictures so here's another from the east.
- DEVIL'S ROBOT
 in march the devil's robot band played at the METRO TIMES annual "blow out festival". when the robot fell into the nice rented drum set, the angry sound man shut down the p.a. and then knocked the robot over. this four minute concert holds the time stereo world record for shortest performance. the robot unsuccessfully tried to sue the metro times, the guitar center, WDET, and other sponsors of the event as well.
- HIS NAME IS ALIVE RECORDING SESSION
 in april his name is alive finished recording their new album.
 lovetta sang into an old time rca microphone.
 scott played drums into two old time altec microphones.
 zach played bass into an old time rca microphone.
 dan played guitar with an old time american telegraph and telephone amplifier.
- THE HAUNTED TUBE IN HERTOGENBOSCH, HOLLAND
 in june, ARTIS, a fancy pants art gallery in the netherlands, brought the haunted tube to europe. they supplied us with all the materials for time stereo to make the largest and most elaborate tube so far!!!!!

- PREEWEET
 in june at the great performance space in rotterdam, we held a release party for the PREWEET cd. it featured bird calls plus ambient noise from the little princess.
 this was also the debut of the tree versus the bush.
 we had a photo booth and for 4 gilders, you could have your picture taken next to the tree, the bush, or the stump. it was great!!!!!
- THE MAJIC GARDEN
 in july, time stereo was invited to set up an installation at the fancy whitney garden, in detroit.
 it was a lot of fun
 until the bush started a fight with the tree.
 our friend ronald got a grant from the dutch govt. to come to livonia for three weeks.
 he made the tree suit
 and the bush suit.
 he was supposed to bring them back to holland.
 their fighting spilled out onto woodward avenue.
 the tree clearly won the battle although there was not much left of either suit
- WORMHOLE EXIHIBITION
 wormhole is a fancy art/comics/manga book published by ronald c. and time stereo.
 in july the bookbeat gallery in oak park, michigan held an exhibition of some of the original art from the book.
 davin made colorful wooden mushrooms that you can put in your garden next to your garden worm.
 an dutch artist named fabian also contributed to the book.
 japanese noise artist koji tano contributed some controversial manga too!!!!!
- LITTLE PRINCESS ON WHFR RADIO
 while ronald was in town, the little princess did a live performance on the radio at WHFR dearborn. davin played electronics.
 warn played congas and ronald played noise. thanks mike d.
- LITTLE PRINCESS
 in early august the little princess played at the gold dollar.
 warn played the drums
 davin played guitar and the lights.
- NOISE CAMP
 noise camp was held outside at cpop gallery at the end of august. dion played the electric watermelon, and then he ate it.
 at noise camp davin played the electric log.
 watch out for bears at noise camp.
- IDA
 in september, ida from new york city came to livonia to record.
 they recorded mostly kids songs and some other songs too!!!!!
- CONTROL PANEL
 warn defever's control panel opened up for her space holiday and mascott in october.
 six men wearing black hooded sweatshirts and scary make up set up quickly and began playing immediately.
 the electronic music was dark,heavy and very loud. one of hooded men tied a rope around another's neck and then set the rope on fire. he said it was an "accident."
 it was very chaotic and scary. fog, noise, and a garlic scent filled the room. then abrubtly as it began,the guerilla-like attack was over and the men loaded out and drove away.
- THE HAUNTED TUBE
 in october, the center for creative studies in detroit asked time stereo to present the fifth annual haunted tube in their main gallery on devils night.
 it was a great success,
 but there was a lot of blood. see more pics of this on the haunted tube pics page.
- HIS NAME IS ALIVE TEN YEARS PARTY
 in november his name is alive played a ten year anniversary concert in detroit.
 we recorded this concert and it will soon be available.

- HEART AND HAND BOX SET
 in december HNIA celebrated their ten year anniversary by releasing a fancy box set.

- NATURAL WORLD OF ELECTRONICS
 time stereo presented "the natural world of electronics" at stormy records in december.
 the show represented the world of sound from its messy beginnings to the hi-speed future.
 the little princess was the electronic tadpole that saw this beautiful new electronic world with innocent & playful eyes.
 there was also a struggle between this new electronic brain and the human heart.
- WARN DEFEVER AND THE ONE HUNDRED YEARS BAND
 warn defever and the i want you to live a hundred years band performed at the G-DOLLAR in detroit december 30 2000.
 when warn started playing his first song "do you want to come to my party," the other boys in the hundred years band went through the audience and gave every boy and girl a pretty flower. at the end of the night, everyone had flowers on their hats, in their pockets, and in their hair.
 fred thomas told a story about something to do with breakdancing on a piece of cardboard in front of his friend's house in the second grade.
 warn passed the hollow log around to everyone who was thirsty in the audience.
 we all appreciated davin and jeremy's special light show.
 except for all the people who had a bright light shining in their eyes.
