IGGY AND THE STOOGES hadn't played together for thirty years...everyone was worried that they would stink!!!!!
Almost all the original members were still alive!!! Here is IGGY climbing up on Mike Watts' bass amp. The only criticism of this great concert that I overheard was my friend Dave complaining about Mike Watts' shirt being tucked in. He's right, thats not very punk!!!!
IGGY accidently invited all fifteen thousand fans onstage. OOPS!!!! Shortly afterwards, he turned off all the lights and screamed "BLACK-OUT!!!!!" This was a very timely joke, since the concert was originally scheduled a week before but got shut down by the famous "black-out of 2003."
Ron Asheton's guitar was so loud!!!! Everyone I know had a headache for three days!!!! The STOOGES only played songs from their first two albums!!!! It was like they had been frozen in a block of ice for thirty years!!!!
