TIME STEREO and CPOP
presented princess dragon-mom's eight annual noise camp on august 27, 2002 in detroit
michigan. This amazing and funny and
strange outdoor electro-acoustic project gave city kids and noise lovers a rare opportunity to
experience the wilderness in an otherwise urban setting.
it was great!!!! this was the best one so far!!!!
There were many carboard trees,bushes, logs, and skunks. davin
from time stereo had also made
some logs that had wheels, handles,
or straps. they were fun to play with!!!!!!
this year many parents brought their
young children to noise camp.
they all enjoyed eating tofu hot dogs from
the barbeque grill, except when the fire
got a little out of control and davin had
to explain to the nice firemen that everything
was okay!!!! everyone loved
the photo booth and a few lucky campers got
"noise camp haircuts!!!!!!!" Casualties were minimal and injuries usually
stemmed from falling down onto some
broken glass after drinking out of the hollow log.
Princess dragon mom played from inside its tent at midnight with only an electric log,
and electric pinecone and an electric watermelon!!!! finally
the person in the cardboard tree suit got in a messy fight with
the guy in the cardboard bush suit and it was all over.
