in 1993 the members of Godzuki met at a local science fair and decided to combine their common interests in science, nature, the cure, synthesizers, new wave records, and started a band. since then the groop's post atomic age synth pop have placed them alongside today's no next wave radio shack gizmo greats. sometimes called space rock, they prefer the term science rock. their particular brand of new wave kraut fuzz is driven by pop songs, pop hooks, and a dance friendly beat with a couple photo-electric oscillators. always performing in uniform has elicted comparisons to devo and kraftwerk. their first record was called "trail of the lonesome pine" and is one part xray specs and one part electronic experiment gone wrong. free wade is their second album. their third album, called "your future," was the final result of the battle between science and nature. TEENBEAT'S mark robinson created the cover art for "your future" and stealthily placed all of the song titles on the spine of the record. which is most likely where they will be located on all cd's in the future.
